Fluoride in Dayton, Ohio is a mineral that is often found in many natural resources. It is extremely beneficial for your smile because it nourishes and strengthens your teeth as well as prevents tooth decay and other major dental issues.

It’s best to receive the proper amount of fluoride each day, but sometimes that task can be difficult. So, to help you fluoridate your teeth on a regular basis, Dr. Richard C. Quinttus and our Rahn Dental Group team recommend doing the following things:

Take advantage of fluoride dental treatment: When you come into our office for a dental cleaning and exam, our team will offer a fluoride treatment that will come in the form of a foam, gel, or varnish. This treatment will give your teeth the strength they need to survive.

Use fluoride toothpaste: Brush your teeth twice a day with fluoride toothpaste. Doing so will help you nourish your smile on a regular basis.

Drink fluoridated water: You can find fluoridated water in specific bottled waters and in your kitchen tap. Usually, cities provide fluoridated water for your convenience and health.

Use fluoride mouthwash: If you rinse your mouth once a day with fluoride mouthwash, then your teeth will be deeply cleaned and strengthened.

Eat foods that contain fluoride: There are some foods that you can eat to help increase your fluoride intake. It’s best to talk to your dentist and ask about those specific foods.
