Pediatric Dentistry

Patton, Quinttus, and Budde provide a variety of pediatric dental therapies to defend your child’s smiles from decay and disease.

Your Child’s Exam

Bring your child for a visit when they reach three years of age, or before if you notice problems. Children love our fun play area and our enthusiastic, outgoing staff. During your child’s visit, we’ll conduct a gentle exam, checking for proper tooth development, bite alignment, and decay.

Restorative Fillings

If your child needs a filling, we’ll remove decay using a hard-tissue laser instead of a dental drill. This safe, gentle, and effective technology allows us to precisely remove decay while preserving more of your child’s tooth. There’s no heat or vibration as with a traditional dental drill, so there’s often no need for anesthesia. After preparing your child’s tooth, we’ll fill it with composite resin to restore structure and function. 

Cavity Fighters

For cavity prevention, we offer dental sealants and fluoride treatments. Sealants are thin, plastic coatings placed on back teeth to protect against decay. If your child drinks unfluoridated, bottled water instead of tap water, we may recommend a fluoride treatment to keep teeth strong and decay-free.

Orthodontics

Misaligned bites, a small arch, and crooked permanent teeth benefit from orthodontic therapy. Sometimes early orthodontic care can prevent major problems later in life. We’ll provide referrals to trusted specialists to ensure your children receive the specialized care they deserve.
